I already had a Rigid 18V drill set, which is why I went with just the tool. If you don't already have the batteries and charger, this may not be a worthwhile deal. Aside from that, this impact driver is awesome! I'm first time homeowner and just starting to get familiar with tools and their usage. I wish I had learned about these magical impact drivers long time ago. Get's the job done and easy on your wrists. The efficiency of my jobs has almost doubled, now that I don't have to fight a wood screw with brute force or fiddle with stripped screw heads. The only setback is that unlike my Rigid drill, this won't have a lifetime guarantee because I didn't buy it at Home Depot and didn't subsequently register it with Rigid. But man oh man - the price offsets that outright. Awesome product. I'm very happy with it.

This is my 3rd one of these, not because they have failed, because I have them at different locations where I work and because they work that well. I use them for both screwdriving and also for drilling with the 1/4" bits that you can buy, although I'd love to find quality bits that don't break so easily.Anyway, I have been very pleased with my Ridgid impact drivers. I had Dewalt and when I could get this impact gun, drill, charger and two batteries, with a lifetime warranty, for not much more then the Dewalt battery, I jumped and I have been pleased ever since. I have most of what Ridgid puts out in 18v now and have no reservations on any of my purchased.Also, I am not a light user. I am a DIYer and I use my tools, they do not sit and they get good hard use.

I rarely buy tools..online. This was a chance I took and I'm very happy I did. Works great and price was unbeatable. Wish it was new version "brushless octane" but, I'm very pleased with this item. I'd buy from this user anytime!

I am very impressed with this product. It has all the power I have ever needed. The battery last a very long time and is easy to charge. I even forgot and left it in the rain. I found it the next day and it has been working for a year now. Very well built drill driver.

It works well for the temporary use that I use it for it is not for working on is the working on professional stuff for a long time Tom but it works well for what it is.

Plenty of torque. This is my second one (previous one lasted over 15 years of heavy use). I might buy another one just because it is so inexpensive.

Use this little impact for everything from minor engine work to lug nuts and lag bolts. Not strong enough for stubborn lugs and larger bolts but it's a little workhorse for sure. Recently used it to drive lag bolts on a fence gate without issues. Great for every project around the garage and home
