California Costumes Boys Union General Ulysses S. Grant Child Costume

This costume is seriously awesome! Word of warning, we never received the entire costume in full. That being said, though, we got pieces of it enough to put it all together. My son, shown, is only wearing the pieces that arrived in one of the shipments. The full ensemble is really quite a bit nicer, if you can actually receive it all in one shipment ;).The beard on the model in the photo looks a lot different from the beard in the package to me. It almost looks like it is plastic, but I think it is the same. Maybe it is trimmed. Anyway, we are so excited for our son to get to wear this when he does his presentation on his General U.S. Grant paper! Fun costume!

PERFECT! Again, Amazon comes to the rescue. I never in a million years would have thought that a Ulysses S. Grant costume even existed and there it was -- and shipped within two days. My son is average size 10-year-old and the costume fit him perfectly. He was so proud to wear it for his school presentation. Thank you thank you thank you Amazon.

Cheap material. The bears isn’t great. Doesn’t come with weapons. It was a little bigger than thought.

Excellent Costume! My son is 9 and wears a size medium shirt (8/10) - this costume fits him well with enough room underneath for a dress shirt. Was a hit for Halloween & for a school wax museum character. The beard is very real-like & the hit of the costume.

For the money.. Save yours. Very cheap product. Colors are not accurate to federal blue. The buttons as several people comment are the best part of the costume.. There is no sword in the deal.. picture is deceptive. Cheap and flimsy. The belt buckle and belt would be better if they were made of plastic and again not accurate to federal era uniforms.

My grandson love this. He needed it for a wax museum at school, but still plays in the jacket and hat!

My song is this for his school’s wax museum. He was one of the most popular characters andvthis was a perfect fit.

My son wore this for Halloween and loved it. The coat was a nice weight and the the beard and hat were perfect. He did not wear the boot covers as he had other boots.
