It appears to be working well. The original one was soldered to the razor. I've tried using is by cutting of the old connectors as close to the battery as possible and just making contact by bending the metal contact strips together. It appears to be making good contact that way. Otherwise, you'll need a small soldering gun.

For some reason will not stay charged must solder connections!

Exactly as described, and it's wonderful to get five shaves without seeing the battery level drop at all. I did the replacement the easy/sleazy way, by bending the tabs so no soldering was needed. Norelco could clearly have put in their batteries to be replaceable but (no surprise to recent buyers) they've been getting greedy; this will give me eight year old shaver another eight years, I hope. A FAR better investment than one of their overpriced and underperforming new units! No instructions I could find except on-line where there were plenty. The screwdriver was an absolutely perfect fit and higher quality than I expected.

Bought the product and did not work. Tried returning and was not able to! I had to eat the cost. This is one of the main reason I try to shop other stores. Amazon return policy is not god.

This saved my shaver but it's not a simple battery replacement. Need to be comfortable with a soldering iron though I was a hell of a klutz with the iron I now have a self refurbished shaver. The added driver was a nice bonus.

Product received promptly. Installed with the tool supplied and VOILA ......new shaver. I have used the shaver for a short time and the batteries appear to be performing well.

I would pass on this next time :-(

Was just what was wanted. Didn't need the screwdriver.....I have lots of tools. Installed the battery pack--charged it up overnight & all is well.Good deal & quick.
