Great purchase
I love this filtered shower head! Great water pressure which is awesome because we don't have strong pressure to begin with. And it was easy to install (I am a lady)!!

This filter saved my hair from falling out <3
I bought this filter thinking that I'd just have to deal with horrible hair my entire time living in Vegas. I wasn't sure what was making my hair so dull, grimy & straight (in a dead + brittle way...). I thought it might be the dryness, but people were talking about how hard the water is, so I thought I would try a filter.I'm on a budget so was sceptical of anything in my price range working, but this filter was easy to install, came with a spare filter and well... seems to be saving my hair & skin like nothing else over the past year and a bit in Las Vegas.I included some pictures bc they are what would have helped me when making my decision. First pic is my hair in my home climate. Second is when my hair started getting bad (1-2 months into living here). The third is after about 9 months of hair damage, right after chopping my hair off because I was so sick of how thin, dull and brittle it was. You can see that it looks dirty and thin even though it's freshly washed. The final picture is about a month or two after installing this filter, approx. 5 months after the third picture. (For full transparency: I left Vegas for a couple months over the summer, so my hair was slightly better before installing the filter. Still!! The damage is slowly slowly fading!).I have fine thin curly hair. When my curls are bad I look bald lol. I don't do much to my hair: no fancy shampoo, though I use the occasional hair mask (shea butter). Don't use heat, don't colour, don't style. V low maintenance. I'd tried non-lathering shampoos and curl creams but nothing worked tbh. I considered hard water shampoos but they were all kind of expensive. I don't need amazing hair, but I also don't want it to be falling out (in hind sight... it was definitely falling out), and this filter is helping so much.I remember reading review that said that the pressure on this filter was a hazard. I don't have great plumbing, so I don't rly have a major issue, but I do find the pressure to be strong. I just don't turn the taps on full blast, which is actually kind of nice since my hot water pressure is super low.TLDR; if you are worried about hard water messing your hair and skin up... you're probably right & a filter will help. I'm considering getting a different one for my bathroom sink too, on the off chance it will make my skin better when washing my face.

Meh... it's okay
First of all, the claims that water pressure will not be reduced are exaggerated. This design features extra small laser-cut holes, which somewhat create the impression of increased water pressure, but the result feels more like a mist coming out or a soft spray than it does a good, steady stream of water. Therefore, in my opinion, the claims of increased water pressure are gimmicky and unrealistic. If you have low water pressure, you will continue to experience the same issues you've been accustomed to.I also think most of the experience a person has with this shower head will be subject to personal taste. I prefer a strong stream of water. This shower head did not do anything spectacular for me. I don't care for the spray effect it generates.Yes, there are three settings, but they are virtually the same. The water coming out changes pattern based on the setting, but the end result feels basically identical, so this is - again - gimmicky in my opinion. One positive I will mention... I do have low water pressure in my home and I did not notice any reduction in water pressure, so this is probably the first time I can say that I've encountered a filter that does not seem to reduce water pressure. That leaves me with other questions though... How well do these filters really work, if at all? Visibly, they are very small cartridges and not much to them. It seems (on appearance) that one would not get a very thorough filter performance, but I will leave that to another, more qualified individual's perspective. I did not officially test the water to gauge whether the water technically improved or not. I do always do a taste test with a new filter (even though these aren't probably intended for "drinking"), because everyone gets some water in their mouth while showering. I honestly couldn't tell much difference, but I certainly didn't experience any negative reactions. Water tasted fine and appeared to be clear. My conclusion is... meh... it's okay. I'm not a fan of the spray feeling these generate so I will likely end up getting a different head. But, for the price, it seems adequate enough perhaps and, as I said, the only filter I've tried thus far that did not present a noticeable reduction in water pressure. Of course, the spray sensation this creates tends to feel like low-pressure anyway (in my opinion) so it's hard to test. Compared to the spray setting on my original non-filtered head, it seems about the same pressure so that is why I am saying I am not detecting a big reduction in pressure.I works. It installs easy. No issues. Reasonably priced.
