This is the best on the market, based on my previous purchases. Tastes kinda sweet and nice and the effects are strong. It'll get you strong, if you know what I mean. Too much and you'll get sleepy. Can contribute to combative social behavior. Is the real deal.

I have been using mushroom powders for 3 years, and until now did not realize they were grown in oatmeal and so, the mix of mycelium and mushroom is what I've been drinking all this time. My doctor wanted me off all grains, and so came across Longevity Botanicals organic Cordyceps powder. I add it to my coffee and smoothies every morning. So far, so good. Flavor: I was originally taken by the flavor of the oatmeal/mushroom mix from another brand - tastes like chocolate with same texture as cocoa. I didn't have the same flavor signals from this brand - but, the taste is still good. You might have to mix it a bit more, but in the long run it's worth it not to have the extra additives. I will purchase again!

I'm in my mushroom phase of health and immune nurturing and have been researching mushrooms and fungus for several years now. I don't believe in the latest superfood fads. Fungus is an entirely unique life form, not plant or animal, that sustains the entire biosphere of the planet, yet is largely unnoticed or disregarded by most people. People often forget that penicillin is a fungus that was accidentally discovered by an accident in a lab to effectively kill harmful bacteria, and that discovery has led to saving countless lives and preventing untold misery. Its bizarre cycle in relation to certain ants is otherworldly and was the inspiration for the video game phenom The Last of Us, distorted, of course to make a fascinating narrative. I won't go into the purported benefits of this strain of fungus, but have been incorporating it into my routine. Can I reported it has had dramatic effects on me? I believe the benefits are under the radar and hopefully increase my immune defenses. Not inexpensive at about a dollar a day, but to me worth it. Recommended.

Doesn't seem to give me any extra energy. I think it can give you nightmares. Didn't meet my hopes but it might be different for other people

The cordyceps in this product is not a naturally grown wild fungi but has to be grown under special conditions in a factory. The wild type can cost over $20,000 /kg making it the most expensive mushroom in the world. Nonetheless, I think this product probably contains a high content of cordycepin, which is basically the active ingredient people seek in this type of fungus mushroom. This fungus was most likely grown on a wood substrate which is fine, but it doesn't yield as much as when grown in liquid. I still think this is a very good cordyceps powder supplement and am glad I got the opportunity to review it. It's very beneficial to health in many ways and I am assuming you have done your research on the health benefits of cordyceps.

This is the third cordyceps Product I have tried and I think it my favorite so farI was initially interested in these mushrooms supplements to replace caffeine and give me a more natural endless giddy energy boost and so far it's worked great for thatAt first the energy boost is a bit more noticeable but it doesn't feel anything like caffeine it's more like a mood elevator that puts you in the right mind set to get more done or get through your day without being groggy and tiredI was especially fond of the fact that it says it's made of whole fruiting bodies and not just the ground upstairs and filler powder that many of these supplements are mostly made ofIf you have any experience with using similar mushrooms supplements then you'll know what to expect from this and if you're new to or warting to give it a try i definitely recommend this product as your first because it's safe seems high quality doesn't have a gross taste that you would expect from mushrooms ( though nome of the other powders I've tried tasted bad or the least bit mushroom like either so domt let that fear stop you) and is just an all around mood lifter and would be good to help manage many issues like lethargy depression or anxiety it also doesn't Prevent you from going to sleep or keep you all night which I love

Love mushroom extract powders. Cordyceps is often in rotation for me, along with Lions Mane, Chaga, Reishi. I guess I use them all, but those are the main ones. I like blends for convenience, but I keep single source for more specific needs. I am especially keen on cordyceps when I am more physically active. Just seems to feed my body energy and recovery in significant ways. Blends real easy into my coffee, and imparts nearly no taste. If not coffee, then I add it to my smoothies, or matcha. Doesnt hurt being added to broths, oats, or whatever else. But coffee is my go-to.Price. I dont rate on price. One of my favorites is half the price per ounce, and my other favorite is double the price per ounce. Quality is good, seems effective, I like everything about it, and would consider it again.
