4D Cityscape Los Angeles Time Puzzle (800 Piece)

This puzzle, which has 2 layers plus the buildings that go in specific places on top, will give you lots of hours of enjoyment if you are a puzzle person. It's hard but not TOO hard plus there are good pictures of the completed layers to refer to. We did the Boston puzzle in this series, then Seattle, and now have completed the first layer of Los Angeles and are starting the second level. The second level of the puzzle (present day Los Angeles) is composed of foam backed puzzle pieces that stick together well, and when you remove the little cut-outs for the buildings, enable you to stick the buildings into tight fitting holes so the buildings stand securely in their spot. No complaints at all!

Really happy with this item. It was fun and a bit of a challenge. I had a great time constructing.

The second layer of foam mountains were next to impossible to line up. Not well thought out at all. Too bad. The rest of the puzzle was ok. There were a couple of warped foam pieces on the second layer that were tough to piece together neatly so they left gaps. I just tell people I was replicating the San Andreas fault.

Cool puzzle but didn't realize how many pieces there were. My husband and I had to complete it for our son because it was too difficult for him.

Actually my daughter loves it, its a present for her. A great way to teach kids some history and foreign culture.
