Great Basket, but attachment Bracket is DIY
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this product on Amazon. It includes an attachment bracket with hooks that fit over the bike handlebars. Once the bracket is attached to the bike, the detachable basket can the fits in place to the bracket. The basket is well made and durable. It easily detaches from the bracket. However, the bracket is a potential problem. It is not designed to be securely bolted to the bike frame, so there is too much 'slop' (movement) when the basket/bracket is on the bike. This allows the basket to flop around a bit when you are riding, especially when the basket is loaded. To overcome this problem, I crimped the bracket hooks that fit over the handlebars so they fit more snugly around the hendlebars. And then I DIY'ed an additional stabilizing bracket from inexpensive parts I bought at Lowe's.I included a short video for anyone interested in seeing the istallation or my modification.Summary: I am a very happy biker now. I rate the basket a 5, the bracket a 3. Overall a 4.

First impressions... Updated!
I haven't actually used this basket yet, but I wanted to give my first impression and I will update again later.1. The silver color is actually grey. I was expecting more of a chrome color.2. Other reviews have been negative for the basket handles easily being knocked loose, which causes the basket to fall off the bike. First impressions is that they must have fixed this issue in the newer models because it takes quite some force to pop the handles up from the down position. I'm not sure how a bump could cause this basket to come loose now... but again, time will tell.Update:I've used this basket for about a week. I love it. Minus the color not being what I expected, it is a great basket. I've added a photo so that you can see that the handles are indeed different that what it looks like on the product page. The grips keep a tight fit and the handles are securely down when in that position.

Dangerous design flaw, but great with a quick home fix
I bought this basket based on the other positive reviews, but I believe that it has a serious design flaw. Once you do a quick home fix, it's great, but the flaw is bad enough that I'd consider the fix to be mandatory in order to make riding safe. The removable basket attaches to the holder in two places: at the bottom, two small hooks hook into the bottom mesh of the basket, and at the top, the edges of the basket's handles hook into two little loops on the holder (by "holder" I mean the part that's attached to the bike). To remove the basket, raise the two handles of the basket so you're holding it like you would hold a basket at the grocery store, then gently lift off the holder to disengage the two hooks at the bottom. The basket is locked into place when the handles are down, and is not locked in when the handles are raised. Here's the design flaw: normal, everyday riding can cause the handles of the basket to lift up. If the handles lift up, the top of the basket detaches, since the handles being down is what locks the top part in place. And if only the top of the basket detaches while the bottom is still held, the basket will roll forward and tumble onto the pavement directly in front of the bike, potentially causing you to crash or fly over your handlebars. I found this out the hard way.For instance, if you hit a pothole and your bike bounces up and down slightly, the handles of the basket also bounce. Imaging holding the sides of a standard grocery store basket, and then suddenly shaking it directly up and down. The handles will bounce upward. If you hit a large enough bump that your bike bounces significantly, the handles will lift up high enough to disengage the attachment system.Luckily, the fix is easy: all you need to do is make sure the handles of the basket don't bounce. If you're not planning on removing the basket very often, zip ties or strong tape will work. If you want to remove your basket a lot, you could probably use twist ties (the kind used for sealing plastic bags that contain food) or the type of cable ties that are use to bundle the cords for electronics. If you need more info, check out the photos I posted.Other than this safety issue, the basket is great.

Looks great, but doesn't work for many reasons!
I got a sixthreezero cruiser and naturally wanted the minty green basket to match, especially as a commuter bike. Initially I felt a little worried about biking in general since I hadn't really sat on one since I was a teenager but like the old saying goes, it's like riding a bike. Or so I thought.I put the basket on the bike and immediately noticed how it started rattling and misaligned my bike. I thought it was just a minor issue until I started to actually ride the bike. I couldn't ride confidently, the bike was being pushed from right to left, the basket moving around and shifting every turn. I honestly thought, oh man I really forgot how to ride the bike, never really thinking the basket was the cause of my issues. This is a HEAVY basket, there is a reason why people opt to a basket weaved by cloth or twill, this thing is really cumbersome despite it's strong construction. I finally removed the bike after trying to attempt to fix this shifting issue with pull ties, rope, you name it. Nothing fixed it (unless I was a welder maybe?)When I finally removed it and started riding my bike; I was flying. My bike wasn't misaligned, I felt confident in the movement and control again, I realized this 20 lb weight was going to get me killed so I decided I had to return it.Take caution, each bike is made differently this basket just didn't hold on well to my bike, but considering the reviews I can see the dinky strap it comes with didn't hold well for many.

like the basket
like the basket, would have to modify the basket, since it covers the already fixed light that is on my electric bike. the back extensor is not long enough for my bike.I wished that the compagnie would have send the detail on how to contact them back directly
