these replace the original factory string assembly and work great. if using them against concrete walkway or driveway, they wear out fairly quickly but cut so much better than the string does.

The head is made of soft plastics. W ill not stay attached to the Ryobi weeseater. Plastic broke after less than 10 minutes of use on light grass. Piece of junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I hit something big trying to use my Ryobi trimmer as a bushhog and totaled the original part. This was an exact fitting replacement! Very happy with the purchase.

This is pretty good but keeps popping off now and then. Good fit and the blades cut great

Not sure what Ryobi was thinking with the trimmer but if you cut some 10 inch .08" string and feed them into the holes it is usable the blabes are useless.

I cut weeds up to 3/16" in diameter on a 80ft x 60ft yard with only 1 paor of bladechange with absolutely no problems, my only complaint is changing out the blades doesn't turn counter clockwise with ease. Other than that, I highly recommend this item.

The idea of no strings to replace is good, but these cutter assemblies fly off if they come in contact with anything such as a fence.More often replaced than you would a string cartridge.

Hated changing or adding string to trimmerFixed the problem easily. Only complaint is that it can be a little too aggressive but ok once I got used to the new device
