Just the right size and cost. But packs a punch. Don't mistake for mid range.
The size is great! You don't have to drop everything in both hands just to be able to unlock! The only difference from the flagship Xperia 1 is the size, which is why I bought it.So far Great!Great size, great screen (120hz), great cameras (zeiss), great memory (rom, ram) and excellent SD 8 gen1 proc.Furthermore, dual sim an ld SD supported.Sony did NOT disappoint.

Sony makes bestest phones
It's perfect in every way...*unless you plan to use it for long gaming sessions or something because it'll overheat a bit.I'll never understand why people buy samsungs.

Useless
I would give this 0 stars but that's not an option. This phone worked well for a couple of months, however, it died on me while on an international trip. Contacted Sony, they asked me to send it in for repairs, but they sent it back to me without even checking the phone. I contacted them again and they asked me to send it in again only to have them send it back to me for a second time without any repairs done. They never shared any sort of communication with me until I contacted them through their repairs website. Useless phone now, can't access the screen at all because it goes black as soon as I power it up...no way to unlock it, access anything on it because the screen is totally black. Paid almost a thousand dollars just to use it for a couple of months.

Two glaring errors compromises a good phone
I was excited to get the Sony Xperia 5 mark IV since I have prior history with Sony smartphones and enjoyed the quality. Unfortunately, this phone disappointed me in ways I can't understand. First, the audio quality is inferior to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G (my previous phone); that's a three-year old phone and I don't need to crank up the volume more than halfway in order to listen clearly. With the Xperia I had to crank up the phone's volume to more than 80% in order to get the same level of clarity. Even with the WM1000-XM3s, the volume was simply too low for me to listen to unless I cranked up the volume to at least 70%.While I can overlook this, the LTE antennae in the phone was a dealbreaker for me. The consistency can be best described as "spotty"; as in, you could be coming out of the subway outside and the phone will simply not respond for a good 10-15 minutes when you want to look anything up on the internet, get texts, email, etc. Even worse underground, you could stop at a station and the phone will struggle to find the LTE signal for that long. In comparison, the N10 5G has it's moments of trying to find the LTE signal, even underground; however, once found, it runs smoothy. That usually takes no more than 2 minutes for the N10 5G to find the signal and start going through whatever texts, et. al. were received.I really wanted to love the form factor and the software I could use with it; having an unresponsive LTE signal just turned me off the phone.

It has problems.......
Sony sure makes great products. But come on, at least leave a charger and simcard pin for me in the box. After all, I didn't pay a low price for it. This is probably the most expensive thing I have ever ordered this year. Please don't let me down like this.

Misinformed listing
Always been a huge fan of Sony phones and compact phones and this one doesn't disappoint. Fedex even lost the first one but the seller had one out to me the following week. Unfortunately the seller also lied....this is not the global version, its China/Korean version
