Does it need a separate bought mattress when used as crib?

Thank you for reaching out! All of our playards come with a mattress which has been designed specifically for the playard. For the safety of your child, we do not recommend adding any aftermarket mattresses or soft bedding to playards. Graco recommends the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Safe Sleep Policy that states infants should only sleep on their backs on a flat firm surface in a crib, bassinet, portable crib, or playard that meets the safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The seats attachments/accessories are not to be used for sleep. We encourage parents and caregivers to review the product manuals that come with the product and check with your pediatrician for more information regarding safe sleep. - The Graco Team

What is the weight limit for the baby using this?
