Microsoft OEM Office 2003 Professional Edition - 1 Pack

TAYLOR TRADING UK (24.95+delivery, cheapest Nov 2014) delivered it amazingly fast. I got instructions and an original CD in original OEM wrapper with a licence sticker and a memory stick with, presumably, the same Office Pro 2003. The stick is an obligatory piece of hardware which has to be delivered with OEM software and the added bonus is that the installation from the stick takes seconds. It installed on a just built WIN 8 (with all win updates) machine with no problems.The software installed from the stick did NOT include Publisher or ACCESS database. I wasn't disappointed because Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook was all I wanted. I did NOT try to see what would install from the supplied disk.Good service, good price and very big relief that I don't have to put up with the nonsense of annoying gimmicks in the later versions of Office or some pay-me-every-year-for-the-"apps" approach of office 365. Let software be software. I am building two machines and considering getting two more copies of office pro discs+COAs for my 11 year old children, as their school work requires opening Office files on the school network. Their school files, created with newer Office including .DOCX files, open with no problems (after installing Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) and Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel and PowerPoint). FIVE STARS!UPDATE July 2020In daily use under Win XP till July 2020 with no problems at all. It doesn't take much space on the HD, works off line, no need for a microsoft account and logging-in, so the mother ship can snoop on what the user is up to and nag the user to upgrade or do this or that (I can see people struggling with that problem all the time). All programs in this package are bullet proof. They never hang up or crash. Office 2003 might not have updates and might not be safe but it is ok if the user has safe habits. This product has never failed me in any way. I have now moved on to a new OS and slightly newer version of Office (same model of one-off lifetime ownership, not a service model) on my desktop, but good old Office 2003 is still alive and in occasional use on my old laptop. On the tenth anniversary I am going to celebrate greatness of Office 2003 with a party!

Arrived promptly and has helped with the learning sets I create for students. No problems installing on Windows 7.

Being a bit of a PC illiterate, I couldn't get the disk to load. Help was offered, but, with my knowledge, it wasn't much help. Sorry guys but thanks. Refund given so even more thanks. I guess it will work if you understand how to change the settings - whatever they are !

The software (Microsoft Office) I bought was faulty and would not load. I wouldn't buy from them again

Item arrived in good time, well packaged and was as described. As well as the disc there was a free USB stick which could be used to install Microsoft Office 2003 in lieu of the disc. This proved to be straight foreward and the installation procedure went without a hitch. Seeing that I paid out a substantial amount for Microsoft Office 365 for my grand daughters christmas present, this has proved to be good value for money.

Took a bit of time to get installed but all works as it's supposed to once that problem was overcome. I got it to work by making a copy of the disc an running the copy for installation

I received the Disc promptly from Amazon. On receipt I treid to load the disc but foud difficulty. would not accpet prodcut licence code. Eventually took to computer shop and they got it to load but said that it was a faulty disc. i tried ot load again on a separate computer and still could not. Computer shop is reommending that I communicate with Microsoft to replace the disc. My experience in buying through Amazon has not been good as I stil have problems with the product.
