Evaporative cooling works great!
I always use it with temps 85F or higher. Stays cold for 1-2 hours. Fast reactivation.*** Make sure to take it off when it dries. If you will wear it dry, it doesn't work, it will actually make you hotter. You have to re-soak it in water to reactivate the evaporation cooling effect.*** Hang it upside down for a bit, so water can drip towards the shoulders, this way the bottom of the vest will not drip on your pants when you will wear it.*** Don't leave it for a long time soaking in water: gell beads will start to dissolve and vest will not work as well.

Cool Water
It was to small for a medium size but it will fit my daughter. Like the way it looked and fitted on her. So ordered a large one for me. It is exactly how it was advertised. Keeps cool for several hours. Would like to see in some other colors. I use it for horse show classes. Would like to see one in red, royal blue, or white. I think that they would sell pretty good..

Great cooling vest
Worked well for a 2hrs moderately strenuous Colorado hike at 85F! Kept the body core cool till the end of the hike, would probably last quite longer after that. I used it without tshirt, just had a sport bra under. Bought size small (silver) so it’s close to the body. Size M (bought in black) had about half inch of space between body and the vest, so it got replaced with the small one. Silver color is more light gray than flashy silver, looked much nicer than black. Recommend to anyone who wants to prevent overheating during summer activities.

Not what I expected
I expected something lightweight, but once water was added, it was very heavy and uncomfortable. I may use it around the house if I have heat issues, but it would be too heavy (with back issues) to wear out to the mall or on a walk.
