Is that a 10" blade length, or an overall length of 10" including the handles?

The headline measurement on Scissors is always the total length from handle to tip. A scissor with a 10" blade would be almost impossible to use.

Nope they're right handed and the shears I've ever owned. I'm an upholsterer and have been using for a year without sharpening
