Blue Barrier Liquid Flashing is an all-purpose, fluid-applied flashing installed with an application gun and trowel used to create a weather-resistant, fully adhered air barrier system around window and door installations. It was developed utilizing Silyl Terminated Polyether Technology (STPE). It comes in a 20oz “sausage tube” requiring a “sausage gun” to apply. Can be left exposed to UV light for up to 9 months.

Great Stuff
Building new house. Felt I needed to apply this myself for extra insurance as a moisture barrier and bug seal around the perimeter of the house at the gap between the OSB bottom edge and cinder block foundation wall. Not a fun chore for an old man bent over low to the ground but I got 'er done. The liquid oozed down a bit but was stiff enough it didn't run/fall down far. It was flexible enough to be spread over the rough surfaces of the two materials.

Did not work
The gun would not roll the tube as designed and had a mess. I thought it might be just the tubes that came with it so I tried on bought locally and it did the same thing
