One of the best mineral sunscreens but still has some mineral sunscreen downsides
One problem I’ve had with several brands of tinted face sunscreen is that their effect -glow/tint/highlight/whatever- is way too much if you actually use the amount you should to get full coverage. The tint in this is definitely visible at first and looks like an unnatural tint when first applied but absorbs and dries down to be almost invisible. (For reference, my skin coloring is light but it’s not quite pale and has a yellow/olive undertone; for example, in most brands of foundation I usually need somewhere around the third or fourth-lightest shade and a”warm” or neutral tone. ) In case others are familiar, this is more like the Block Star mineral sunscreen from Bliss with just enough tint to counteract the white cast from the mineral formula than it is like Supergoop’s Glowscreen or Tula’s Protect + Glow which have sort of a glowy highlighter effect. This claims to act as a primer, and I would agree with that in the sense that it’s a good base for other makeup and even gives a slight mattifying effect. It does not, however, blur pores or imperfections.Going back to the Bliss comparison, that stuff breaks me out after a couple of days, which is a huge downside because I do not usually have breakouts. This has not caused any irritation or breakouts even with wearing under makeup in very hot and muggy weather.Unfortunately, this does have the same stifling feeling that I’ve experienced with every mineral sunscreen I’ve tried, so my preference will remain to use other options. It feels like it’s smothering my face and by the end of the day I am relieved to wash it off. It’s better than some in that it comes off in my normal washing routine without any extra effort but I am really bothered by that feeling. It’s also better than others I’ve tried in that it doesn’t migrate into my eyes or irritate them even though I do use it under my eyes and under my brow bone in order to get good sun protection. There is almost no detectable scent at all- no fragrance, and not even any of the usual sunscreen smell (which wouldn’t bother me personally but I know others try to avoid). I still need another product for my throat and chest because while the tint disappears on my skin, it’s enough that I’d be afraid of staining any fabric that came into contact with this, and this is not as moisturizing as I like for those areas anyway. This is good and might be the perfect fit for some but it’s not quite the ideal daily sunscreen for me. I will use the rest of the tube and I can’t point to any negatives that aren’t a matter of preference, but I won’t be reordering.

Good tinted sunscreen with nontoxic ingredients
I’ve been on the search for a good tinted sunscreen with nontoxic ingredients and I found that this one is very effective. This sunscreen works very well and it leaves my skin glowing. This particular sunscreen is not EWG certified but multiple sunscreens from this brand are which leads me to trust this one. Solera uses natural and nontoxic ingredients.

Good Sunscreen
Love the tinted moisturizer + SPF combo in this. Goes on smoothly and not greasy. Stays put all day. Great product.

Slight illumination but that's it
I'm not sure I would continue to use this product. It's nice, don't get me wrong and I did not notice a strong odor. I used it for the first time yesterday and it wasn't what I thought it would be.I was under the misconception that it was similar to self tanning. I was expecting "a glow".I saw a slight illumination but that's about it.I did not get a bronzy look. I didn't even get a slight golden look. I got what looks like glitter in sunblock lotion. That's it.It takes a while to rub it into the skin and have it get absorbed.I'm just not a fan and probably won't continue to use it.I'll give it to my daughter to see if she might like it.

Great tinted mineral sunscreen
This tinted mineral sunscreen feels relatively lightweight compared to most mineral sunscreens I've tried. The tinted aspect is good gives my skin a nice glow but it's definitely not as concealing as foundation. I don't wear much makeup usually so I've been using it by itself instead, but I think it would work well as a primer also.

Strange smell
I wanted to like this product but immediately swatching it, it had a strong smell like when sunscreen has gone bad. It’s so strong that I didn’t want to leave it on my face. Packaging and the product itself are nice but I’m unsure if I got a bad batch or that’s just the product

Nice but I would not substitute it for my sunscreen
This sunscreen is actually very nice! I was surprised that it was actually unscented like it claimed. This also does not feel clogging which was soooo appreciated. Moreover, it does NOT seep into my fine lines. Now the glow aspect…to get a good amount of this on..you are going to look more sweaty than glowy if you are trying to get enough spf out of this. I would not recommend to substitute this for your sunscreen. I would say use and do your skincare routine as normal and then use this. That way you get the glow you are supposed to but are also not leaving out the necessities, like moisturizing and sunscreen. I liked this overall.
