Mine came with the little square piece that is used to latch it to the printhead. It seems that the other customer that was missing this piece must have either misplaced it or had it not actually included with the order. I would contact the manufacturer and see if they would be willing to send an entire replacement in that case.As far as my my splitter, it's almost identical to the actual one on the A1 printer. Comparing the two, I don't see any large differences, and I'm actually using this on a custom printer separately (not an A1) because I like being able to pipe together 4 inputs to a single output. Even for manual filament changes, this is convenient.So far filament does go through the chamber without any major issues. Time will tell, but I'd assume things will only get smoother as it gets worn in.

Cheap plastic and doesn't have durability at all. Just spend the extra and get a branded one.

I picked this up as a spare just in case for my A1. I did notice that the square was installed backwards when I took it out of the package. It looks identical to the OEM so it should work fine. I did test some PTFE in it and it held them just fine.

This was a direct swap for the OEM one that came with my A1. No issues with fitment or function. Much cheaper than buying it from the manufacturer. Works well and was exactly what I needed to replace the cracked one from a really bad nozzle clog.

Ok so, I am not sure is it is supposed to come with the square piece or not as it doesn't say so in any of the literature but it does show it in several pictures even showing the dimensions of it. I needed both parts as I lost both of them after some disassembly. Unfortunately, after receiving the unit I noticed it is missing the square piece (look at the images) Now I am trying to see if I can buy it individually or if I have to get a new set that has both things. Anyways, the main piece seems sturdy and it is very similar to the OEM so hopefully i will get to use it soon.

Broke my printer

While not OEM quality, this PTFE adapter does the job done. The AMS tubing connectors fit securely, and it works as expected for 3D printing needs. For the price, it’s a worthwhile purchase!
