Does the device fit both ends of the Xbox or just one?

The Device is a platform for the Xbox stands on, however it only supports the Xbox in the orientation seen in the picture (Power button closer to the ground)

Is this for 1st generation xbox one?

yes. and I have to say, XBOX ONE is not recommended in a vertical position w/o additional cooling
