Razor RipStik Air Caster Board

I've had the regular Ripstik for five years or so and it was getting old so I decided to buy the Air. The Ripstik Air is astoundingly better than the regular Ripstik. It is a different riding experience, but very easy to get used to. After riding the Air for a half of an hour, getting back on my regular Ripstik was very strange.Differences between the Air and the regular Ripstik:The Air goes with much less effort than the regular RipstikYou can twist the Air just as much as the regular Ripstik, but you have to keep your feet farther apartThe wheels are spring loaded so that they are always facing the right direction when they hit the ground, makes it easy to learn tricksThe Air feels much lighter and much more solidOverall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to replace an aging regular Ripstik or buy a Ripstik for the first time (they aren't as hard as they look!)

I prefer this over a normal ripstik (although I skate now, I don't think I'll ripstik again)The casters broke really easily after hitting a curb a few times. It gets scratched very easily especially compared to a normal ripstik, and the grip tape isn't very good and rips off fairly easily. It's better than no grip tape at all I guess.It's also much stiffer than a normal ripstik, better for tricks. Although you won't be doing any tricks unless you learn on a skateboard first, I can almost bet on that! It's still a fun little thing to have around though.

A friend who lives overseas has a son who desperately wanted one of these but they're 2-3x Amazon's price there. My friend was visiting so I ordered one and as soon as he got back home I got e-mail saying that I'd made a 9 year-old the happiest boy in the world. He loves it, especially riding circles around his dad, litteraly.Great fun for kids and parents as long as you don't mind your kid reminding you just how old you are.

My 12 year old son got this for Christmas, and LOVES it! The graphics are fun, and has as much, if not more, fun on this than his old skateboard. I would recommend getting pads and a helmet for any person riding this, he has taken a few spills that could have been serious. Not for small children-takes quite a bit of balance and coordination. A fun product for pre-teens through adults. According to my son, anyone who enjoys skateboarding will probably enjoy this.

My kids love this new RipStick Air. The first one I ordered was defective (something wrong with the spring on the wheel), but Amazon exchanged it quickly with no hassle. I was very pleased with the exhange process.

I debated between this and the original, and went with the newer of the two products. Very happy with this purchase. After watching a couple of youtube videos on how to ride, my eleven year old was outside and staying on it without too much frustration. It looks like a lot of fun! My 8year old is now begging for one. It gets them outside and active, and off their video games!!!

My boy has absolutely loved this and is still using it 2 years later. It hasn't broken. Top quality product.

Our family already had a couple of smaller RipStiks, but this was well worth the extra money. It's alot sturdier (and heavier) than the smaller models, making it the perfect choice for adults wanting to give RipStiks a try. My seven year old son can get up alot more speed on this board compared with the smaller models. After only a couple of weeks he can now go over his two-sided ramp and is keen to take it to the skate park next. Top tip: I recommend liberal use of WD40 on the casters to get the best out of your RipStiks.

Had the older version of this as a kid myself and I loved it. Bought this one for my little cousin, he loves it too!

Son has had hours of fun on this

Benutze das Waveboard schon seit über einem Jahr. Ich musste nur das Hinterrad wechseln, weil es schon zu abgenutzt war, das lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass die Räder sehr weich sind und durch mein Gewicht zusätzlich belastet wurden (deshalb ein Stern Abzug). Die restliche Qualität ist sehr gut. Das Board ist sehr stabil, die Anti-Rutsch-Folie ist noch nicht beschädigt.Was ich an dem Board gut finde, ist, dass man damit auch kleinere Steigungen (bergauf) und auch bergab fahren kann. Sowohl kleine, als auch große Kurven kann man machen, da sich das Board-Mittelteil gut biegen lässt.Ich empfehle das Board an Einsteiger und auch Fortgeschrittene weiter, denn Spaß ist garantiert.

Das Waveboard verbindet Spaß mit Bewegung und trainiert zugleich die Beinkoordination und den Gleichgewichtssinn. Es bedarf einiger Übung ehe man darauf wirklich fahren kann, da sich das Board durch die Schwingbewegungen der Beine angetrieben wird. Wenn man die Technik allerdings durchschaut hat, ist es ein reines Vergnügen mit dem Waveboard seine Runden zu drehen. Wir haben dieses Exemplar inzwischen seit 6 Jahren in regem Gebrauch und bis auf die üblichen Gebrauchsspuren funktioniert es weiterhin einwandfrei! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Great product. Bought this for my son who is 12 years old and he has take to it like a duck to water. He does not like skate boarding but he loves this.

Bought this for my son for Christmas - he already has a skateboard. This is a new skill for him to learn and he foun d it very easy to get going. Sturdy product, great design, comes with a dvd which is helpful for starting off. Really impressed overall.

Solid construction and great fun. Pre-book with A&E though and make sure you wear padding :-)
