Fits perfectly and is already saving bags.
Should have come with the shop vac, but after trying in vain to reinforce the bags for 3 years I finally went ahead and got this. Now my shop vac doesn't clog up every day. The suction has gone strong for the since I installed it last week. I was planning to buy a large dust collector, but now I don't see the need! Don't hesitate if you have a shop vac without this attachment.

A little tighter fit than the original, but it works great. I made sure the wife knows what it looks like so she won't toss it out with the bag again. about $13 I didn't want to spend. Not really sure why Shop-Vac made the design change and not sure I like it, but it is what it is.

Can’t use a shop vac bag without it
Just what we needed to use a bag in our shopvac. Without it the bag just got destroyed by items ripping through the bag.

The part i needed
This product was needed for my shopvac after original part was lost because i forgot to remove the part from the bag before trowing it away. The part was delivered promptly and exactly what I required. The downside is that the part is highly over priced, about 1/4 of a new shopvac but can't operate without this part.
