This was a beautiful, beautiful statue! Was more than we expected it to be. With the little secret drawer, and the small scroll with the Saint Joseph prayer! Really beautiful.

This is a very nicely made statue. Not cheap looking at all. It has a good weight to it. St. Joseph's eyes are closed, so if that bothers you, buy a different statue. My favorite part is the little compartment in the base in which you can put your petitions on small rolled up pieces of paper. I am very happy with my purchase!

I purchased this to replace a smaller statue of St. Joseph that had been "planted" in the front yard of my previous house to assist with the selling (do a search for 'St. Joseph house selling kit'). In the closing moments of leaving with the last u-haul of belongings, it was forgotten and is still in the ground. I found this in a search and was attracted to the fine workmanship of painting. Ordered it and was not disappointed. It is a beautiful creation and demands to be in a place of honor in the home as a thank you for helping sell the old house. If there's any question to if this works or not, the day after I set it in the hole in the yard and covered it up with dirt, we had our first appointment to see the house. These people then became the buyers and the house was closed on within two months of it being listed on the market.
