KitchenAid KKFSS16CS Architect Series 16-Pc. Stainless Steel Cutlery Set

I am very pleased with this set of knives so far. It arrived very nicely packaged with a lovely note. I really like the handles, and the fact that these are supposed to be dishwasher safe. We haven't had time to use all of the knives, so I will have to come back to update on the usage and durability. Based on the initial customer service, I would buy from this seller again!Update: I am still VERY happy with this set of knives. I have tried to wash them by hand after use, but we have washed them in the dishwasher a couple of times. We lay them on the top rack so that the edge of the blade does not rest against anything. So far, they come out clean and without harm! They are wonderfully sharp and still beautiful to look at. I will add pictures on the next update!Update 1/13/2024: I am still pleased with this set of knives. They made it through a move and four years of heavy use. The dishwasher has not been kind, though. We washed by hand some of the time, and we continued to use the top rack of the dishwasher when that was not possible. If we did not wash them in the dishwasher, I believe they would have lasted at least a decade or more. I would recommend purchasing these (if they were still available).

Very nice set. Originally I was going to buy a set of the famous quality set for $600+. But randomly found this one and would like to give a try. Nice stainless. Sleek looking on kitchen countertop. Glad I saved a lot money.

Only thing I don't like is the base . show ware too quickly

Pro: Good knives, came sharp! Sleek looking, nice variety.Con: the slots are in the metal stand, so I feel like I’m dulling the knife everyone I don’t sheath it perfectly. Also, the handles on the chopping knives could be bigger, so I don’t rap my knuckles on the cutting board when chopping.

Great, strong, easy to hold

I always seem to gravitate back to this brand. Other brands that were all stainless did not have a bread knife with large ridges or they had less knives. I like this set. However, if you buy all stainless, your hand may slowly slip down the handle as you chop because it’s all metal. Easy to clean though.

Very nice quality and very sharp.

I have had this for a year and there are scratches everywhere on the body. WillNeed to go back to my old set that still look brand new. These rust. Lives are very sharp though!
