Best tool for the job
At first I thought I wasted money on this tool. I was not getting the cuts to work right and I found it was because I was not measuring properly.I bought tiles with the reveal edge to do a rather large drop ceiling job. Great looking tiles but a pain to cut out the rabbet. I decided to buy this tool because I had so many cuts to do and making the cuts without it was not working so well. After receiving the tool, it took a while to get it right. What I learned is that you need to get a very good measurement (from rail to rail) and for me, subtracting about 2/16 of an inch for a really good fit. Once I did that it was a joy to use. The most important thing is to use a new blade every three or four tiles. Buy a bulk supply at Lowes or Home Depot. I purchase a double pack of Kobalt blades (150 total) from Lowes for a sale price of about 8 dollars. In the end, I probably used only about 50 but now I have extras on hand. Also, if you have an irregular space, just measure each side and make your cut from mark to mark. I used a drywall square for all my cuts and it worked great.I had so many cuts to make that at some point a piece of wood broke on mine to where it would not hold the blade tight in the groove. It was no problem as I just held the blade in place with my thumb while making the cut.If you change the blades often and practice on a few scraps, this tool is the only way to go. You will truly be thrilled that you bought this item once you get the hang of it. By changing the blades often and using the right depth, you will get a cut that exactly matches the factory reveal. So glad I purchased this item.

Great idea, poorly made.
The first problem with this product is that they give you a brass flat head screw to screw into wood. There is a predrilled hole, but the screw top was shredded before I could even get it half way through to fix the blade inside the groove. Why use a brass screw????

Fast
I am putting up a recessed ceiling and couldn't figure out how to cut off the little bit on the cut edge of the partial panels. This tool is simple, inexpensive, and works well. I generally run across the edge twice and the result is a sharp edge. The reveal is about 3/8 inch and that works well.

Make sure you buy extra blades like the one that comes with this item because the ...
The screw that holds the blade broke on install. Cutting depth for the tile I was using was not the same as the tool. Make sure you buy extra blades like the one that comes with this item because the blades that you use in a utility knife are not the same.

Great but needed modifcation
First cut was great, but after a few cuts the blade started to slide out of it's groove. I went and modifed the tool in two ways. First I added a screw to hold the blade in the groove and then I moved the screw hole holding the blade so I could use most any utility blade. Manufacturer should make some changes but after the modification the tool worked GREAT!

perfect for installing tegular tiles
Needed this tool for installing a lot of tegular ceiling tiles. Shaved a lot of rime and mess off this job. Cuts look better and customer was happy

Not made well
The hole to hold the blade in place isn't drilled right. Adding additional drilled area won't secure because it only opens it up and no longer holds securely. So it renders this tool useless
