Having an issue finding the connection part to connect this sander to a vacuum cleaner? i bought dewalt dwv9130-xj 35mm adapter but it does not work

You just need the right size connector for your vaccuum. If the pipe sizes are nearly right you can tape them together with masking tape. I find the supplied dust collector effective.

I have a dcd796n drill with a 5ah battery. Will the battery be compatible with this sander . Thank you

If it’s a standard 18v lithium ion battery then yes they fit all the tools It will make it a bit heavy And possibly off balance a bit but maybe that’s just my small hands - it will work and it’s a brilliant bit of kit
