I love these bowls, but more importantly, my wife loves 'em. Heheh. Kidding aside, they are durable and colorful for a perfect portion. I've owned them for a long time now, wash them exclusively in the machine, and I see no crazing whatsoever. I expect them to last a very very long time. There's no variation in size or shape like often seen in ceramic sets--you know: when one plate is a little off? I microwave with 'em and they're unfazed. They're simply great. Highly recommended.

Perfect size for nuts , candy, and dips.

I didn't know when I ordered these that they were as small as they are, but I have found them to be just the right size for many things, and I use them constantly! The colors are bright and the patterns are slightly embossed or raised. I had bought the salad plates and dinner plates as well as the cups, so I wanted these, and they are sold in sets of 8 instead of 4 like the others. They call these ice cream bowls and they work well for that, if you use 2 scoops. Just right for me. But they're great for all kinds of sides, too, like fruit, yogurt, veggies, etc.

I bought the plates and bowls that are from the same company with the same design. I saw these and thought i'd give him a shot and I am so pleased with the purchase they are the perfect size for basically anything: yogurt, sauces, side dishes, etcThe included pic is the 8.5' plate, standard bowl, and these little guy. I have not purchased the large plates.. I am single and don't entertain that much anymore.Update: I purchased the 10" dinner plates and could not be happier, they are beautiful!Highly Recommend this company and these plates and bowls, the quality is exceptionalUpdate: I kept running out of the Mini bowls during the Christmas season. So I went ahead and ordered another box of them. I got nothing but compliments on this set of dishes

If you're thinking about getting these dessert bowls, don't think, just buy them. You will not be disappointed. They are BEAUTIFUL and the PERFECT size. I also ordered the serving bowls and salad bowls. Can't wait to open the next Dowan box to see the rest of my order.

Our busy schedule makes snacking & smaller portion meals necessary. These are outstanding. Perfect size. Beautiful - fun. Easy to care for & light for porcelain. We use them for everything from rice to soups. I am considering getting a second set as our adult kids prefer using these. Als excited about adding other dishes from this collection. Please keep making these~ They really are great dishes.
