gets the job done!
broke the last power cord to my Acer Aspire 5 A515-44, so this is a worthy replacement. Good value for the money and proper length for my needs. Fits well. Concern is durability of the male fitting to charge the laptop, as that is what broke on the last one and this is no different. so far, so good at getting the job done, with that job being charging the laptop.

Just won't work for more than a few months.
I have had to buy this charger several times over the past few years. Over this year specifically, I've had to repurchase three separate times. This is simply unheard of for a laptop charger. Right? I take care of my laptop and keep it in the same position - same with charger. It's in a standard, clean outlet - no tugging, no kinks, no anything and without fail it only lasts (at maximum) 6-10 months. No joke. This has happened several times.This time? Two months! I bought it end of February (February 24th to be exact) and it's already going in and out. So frustrating to work from home and have to replace such a standard but necessary device. I've even had my laptop checked/cleaned and it's not that. I'm not even the type of person to go and say this but it's like they are made to go out so you have to buy another. It can't be anything I'm doing.

Bought this to replace laptop charger that died within 2 years of my purchasing the laptop. This charger died almost exactly 2 years on the spot. Guess these things just do that. Charger that came with laptop also sat loose in laptop charge port so I don't think the loose connection is a design flaw. Worked good when it worked
