Value for money scanner
Recommended by Chat-GPT as the scanner I bought originally wasn’t specific enough (I used this scanner: MOTOPOWER MP69033 OBD2) only has generic codes and I wanted more model specific.This scanner was good and I used the free trial version to diagnose a FIAT specific fault code. You can use IOS or android. Easy to use. You can use chat gpt to expand fault codes etc if you need.

Works on ELM OBD reader, but doesn't work for BEEMERCODE/BIMMERLINK FOR A BMW E87 2006 PRE LCI....
I want to start by confirming that this OBD does work with the app provided in the instructions included in the box. I was able to successfully diagnose my car using it. However, for peace of mind, I also wanted to use BIMMERCODE or BIMMERLINK for diagnosis. After some research, I found that while VEEPEAK is compatible with these apps, it doesn't work with my specific model, a BMW E87 from 2006. It seems that models from 2007/2008 and above would be, although not able to confirm if they would work on BIMMERCODE/BIMMERLINK.The OBD came well-packaged, with clear instructions on how to pair it via Bluetooth. The app quickly scanned my car and identified any errors. I ended up returning the item since I no longer needed it and decided to purchase a slightly more expensive OBD in the hopes that it would be compatible.To clarify, if you're planning to use this OBD with a 2006 BMW E87 for BIMMERCODE or BIMMERLINK, it won’t work.ALSO, I also couldn't connect it to PROTOOLS by BIMMERGEEKS, though that may have been an issue on my end. Both BIMMERCODE and BIMMERLINK confirmed it wasn't compatible with my car.

Great Scanner and amazing value
Amazing little reader that allowed me to diagnose and fix my daughters Fiat 500 clutch switch. Used it with the free iOS “Car scanner” App. Fabulous! Comes with simple instructions useful case too

Cost effective obd tool
This is a great bit of kit which works on various cars. I have had it working on my Father's BMW x1 and my nissan qashqai.
