A+ - just get it.
This stand is not adjustable, if that is what you are looking for, then this is not for you.I like it because it is very sturdy and raises my Macbook Air to eye level. It is surprisingly good quality for low price, and only consists of 3 pieces which you can put together without tools.Highly recommend.

Solid Design
This is a solidly designed stand for my MacBook Pro. It allows me to use the Macbook screen as a second screen next to my main monitor.

Simple and useful
Sometimes the simplest things are the best. I work strictly off a laptop and needed an affordable, portable, lightweight stand to elevate my laptop while using a wireless keyboard. This was the ticket. It slides together and comes apart easily, but is a solid, good looking metal stand. Leaves space underneath for objects -- no wasted real estate with this stand. Miminalist vibes that would fit almost any decor. It gets the job done in style.

Detailed view of the product, material, and design
I have been a ‘laptop’ computer user for nearly 40 years. I recognized the importance of good posture when I realized that ‘laptop computer’ really is a misnomer. Computers will always be desktop or portable—whether you call it notebook or laptop. Unless you wear bifocal glasses, where you’d hold your head up and see through the lower portion of the glass, the proper position for most people will typically be level light of sight and aimed at the top edge of the monitor. With that in mind, it’s obvious that the monitor is too low when the notebook/laptop computer is placed on the lap or on the desk. This is where the computer stand comes in handy. Unless it’s a quick session, I Have always used a notebook/laptop computer on a stand and ALWAYS paired with a keyboard and tablet/mouse/trackball. This combination facilitates good posture. The stand is not meant to be used without external keyboards; raising the hand/arm just to type is damaging to the musculoskeletal system. This product is a direct copy of the original made by Griffin Technology more than 25 years ago. Back in the days, Griffin ‘Elevator’ was the only product on the market serving notebook/laptop users. It wasn’t until recently hundreds of phone/notebook computer stands started to pop up. I particularly like Besign’s products, because they are well designed and made with good materials. This one has a slim/low-profile base, unlike the Griffin Technology’s acrylic/aluminum insert (which often falls loose). This one has a very thin high-density foam pad on the base which anchors the two stands/arms. It may not be strong enough for repeated insertion/removal, as the friction may degrade the grabbing power of the high-density foam. The space below the computer provides room for a stack of paper/documents and keyboard, so it is a space saver. My only complaint is that added height may not be sufficient. The other Besign product allows me to adjust the height.Overall, it’s an excellent alternative to Griffin Technology’s Elevator II, especially at 1/3 of the price. In the photos, I am showing the details of the materials and design. I knew the price is too low for CNC, but some of the cuts are a big rough, but it does not affect the function. Additionally, the surface of the metal is rather ‘rough’ compared to Apple’s products. With the Griffin Elevator II, their surface matches that of the Apple products. This is really minor or irrelevant to the function of the product, but you may want to know.

Sturdy & good height
Sturdy and perfect height. I can lay in bed and just put this on top of my legs and comfortably work. :) Hard to dissemble sometimes but I just keep it as is. Can type. unlike other stands with bulky holds. I can put my arms over the two little arms holding.
