I fell and broke my left foot. The doctor placed me in a smaller boot so my foot would repair. After walking one day in the boot and a tennis shoe on the other foot, my hip started hurting because my two feet were not level. The urgent care facility told me about this shoe lift called Evenup. I immediately ordered it from Amazon. I chose the right height adjustment lift (they give you 3) and attached it to my tennis shoe right away. I couldn't believe what a difference it made. It was a life-saver. At first, I worried about it being loose and falling off, but it worked perfectly. I wore it for nine weeks and never had any trouble from it! The Evenup saved my hip and back.

Speaking as someone who has to be in a walking boot for the next 8 weeks, the EvenUp is a lifesaver, speaking as a licensed massage therapist, it is a body saver. It fits all types of athletic shoes and flats and runs true to size...I wear a 9.5 to 10 and got the medium in the EvenUp and it's perfect. I've only had one shoe that seemed to slip around in it and that was a Dansko hiking shoe and I think it was because of how the shoe is made not the fit of the EvenUp. The tread of the EvenUp is slip resistant and works well on all surfaces. I don't feel like I'm going to slide or get caught on rugs. I used the boot alone for 3 days and my hips were not happy, nor was my back or legs. I've had the EvenUp for a week and I can feel a huge difference. I love that you can adjust the height with the inner soles to meet any need. It's easy to put on and take off and is definitely durable. All in all I would highly recommend getting one to go with your walking boot or cast. Your body will thank you.

This is a hip and back saver,tell everyone you see in a boot. Be sure to get appropriate size and in this case a bit bigger is a bit better. A smaller size may not provide enough to support when stepping and may slip. Velcro is nice, but I'm warm conditions the glue holding Velcro in place begins to warm and slowly shifts resulting in misalignment of layers and how one steps. The very top may also become slick when wet causing foot to slide on device (a grip tape would help keep shoe from slipping). Just some observations to be aware of, otherwise material holds up well.

My podiatrist told me to get this for while I’m stuck in a boot and it’s definitely helping me not be lopsided. What’s surprised me is how many people ask me what it is, then get really excited and say how badly they wish they’d had had one of those when they’d had a boot. They talk about the hip pain they had after their ordeal and sometimes months of physical therapy to correct it.I’m so thankful I was told to get this to help me out. They even told me to get this brand to go with the boot that they gave me. I love that the shoe has so many options for what level to have it at. It was pretty easy to tell which one was right.I very much recommend this.

I had to wear an orthopedic boot and a friend told me about this for my other foot. After two days of wearing the ortho boot my hips and knees were aching and my lower back was ready to go out. I ordered the even up (she offered me the one she had but had to wait a few days to see her). I couldn’t wait and it came The next morning. So much better to walk even and steady. There are a few heights to choose from and the rubber netting stretches over your sneaker or shoe with no issues. I wear it everywhere. I do take it off to drive but you don’t have to. I ordered small ( I wear size 7wide sneaker with orthotics). Waterproof too. It is like a thick flipFlop with different layers.

After putting me in a walking boot, my doctor told me about this. How right he was! I'll be honest--I wasn't thrilled about looking like I have an ice cleat on my shoe, especially one with that slash of bright turquoise, but my hip had started to hurt and I know it was from the imbalance caused by the height difference in my legs. I bought it with the intention of wearing it just in the house. As soon as I determined the correct height and attached to my shoe, the hip pain was gone! it remains on my shoe full-time. And maybe I just never noticed the bright slash of turquoise before, but I've seen three others sporting the same Even Up device in the past two weeks. I did try heel inserts initially but couldn't get the height I need to match my boot height. This is a game-changer if you are in a boot or have a difference in leg lengths. Highly recommend!

My husband just received this product and has not used it very much as he is just learning to stand after nearly 2 years of limited mobility. That said, we purchased the medium sized Evenup to go over a size 11 shoe. We purchased the medium even though the size chart caps the medium at size 10.5. We thought that the material might stretch enough to fit his Sketchers slip on shoe. It fits perfectly. The large would likely have been too large for the shoe. We left 1 star off the review as we don't know anything about the durability as yet. So far we are pleased.
