Would this work for human poop?

It depends. If, for instance it's one of those South Park type situations and you've puked up a bunch of crap after eating with your bottom, it's not going to work so well due to the extraordinary amount of mucous required to eject feces orally in an effective manner. Simply put, the lack of viscosity alone would render the poop frictionless, and picking it up would, despite Herculean efforts, be in vain. If, however, a person has expelled as Nature intended, even with the happy effects of laxatives, scooping will render the pooped upon surface with the mildest of smears. Lest the smear go to waste, one should always feel more than free to imbibe orally in order to rectally render a commensurate amount of edible. Bon appetit!

How firm is the rake?
