How does one clean these nibs? Do I need special fulid or will water work? Thanks

Water will clean it since the paint is water based, but by my experience, I've used these pens a fair amount of time and didn't have any problems of paint clogging on the nibs. The nibs are still as clean as brand new.

There is a place for one cartridge. How do you write with 2 colors at the same time?

You need two pens in order to achieve this. The instructions state: 1) Hold the pens with the nib of B pointing downwards and the nib of A pointing upwards. 2) Leave the nibs in contact for several seconds. 3) Beautiful gradiation of colour can then be produced when writing with pen A. Hope this helps!

Instead of using those ink cartridges can you purchase a converter for these pens?

I don't have my kits in front of me at the moment, but am pretty sure that there is an squeezable, refillable adapter included in each kit. The included cartridges don't last very long since the nibs are so wide and use so much ink. But it's worth it!I love the pens and have been acquiring such pens since 1963.
