I purchased 4 of these teats with 4 of the TwistShake bottles and the whole purchase has been the best bottle purchase I have ever made and there has been hundreds over the years going through 5 children over 16 years!!My toddler who I bought these for has been extremely difficult to get to first use a bottle at all and then to settle on a bottle he would use regularly. Until now it has been Avent bottles (original) and just small regular drinking cups (that get spilled 20 times a day). So these working for him is a HUGE deal!My toddler won’t touch a sippy cup at all. He will scream at you as soon as he sees me try to get one out of the cabinet for him. Soft or hard spout doesn’t matter. He doesn’t like the feel of a hard spout cup and he doesn’t like how hard he has to suck on the soft spouts and the overly large size for his mouth. These are a bit softer than other soft spout sippy teats and don’t require hard suckling and bent as easily as the nipples (which vent great!!!)I figured I would get the same reaction from these but wanted to try again because I’m tired of cups being spilled on my furniture and floor because he will only use a bottle (morning and night only) or a regular small child cup to drink.I fixed him a cup of milk when he asked for one but I fixed it in his new TwistShake bottle and put the sippy teat on it. I had to beg him to try it and promise I would put it in a regular cup if he didn’t like it before he would try it but it only took him a couple swallows and he took it out of his mouth, told me “I really like it” and then ran off to play.You could have knocked me down with a feather!!
