This is the third of these bottles that I have purchased. I wanted one that was a smaller size that would fit in my cupholder because the larger size one is too big. I like these water bottles with the filter because there isn’t always filtered water available. And, it saves on plastic drinking bottles. I don’t think these are meant as survival filters, but more for filtering tapwater when filtered water isn’t available. The bottle itself is durable and installing the filter is easy. I also find that I drink more water when I carry this around and keep it with me. I have no issues with the taste of water through the filter. It taste fine to me.

Good size water bottle with filter. Not insulated to keep water cold, but a few ice cubes help. Slim size fits in my bottle carrier so no need to order additional products.

Perfect for vacations where water tastes funny/salty/sulfur. Makes it taste like nothing.

I bought the Britta water bottle to take to Disney World. The reason I bought this brand is because of the filter. At home our water is from a well, so there isn’t anything, like chlorine in the water and that’s how I wanted my water to taste while traveling. This water bottle wasn’t heavy to carry even when full. It’s definitely worth the money & it’s easy to change the filter & to clean.

I've been using Brita bottles for years. Decided to take them apart last weekend and give them a good thorough cleaning. Well, that was a mistake, although I think I got all the pieces back in place, they leak like crazy. The bottles were hard to clean into all the little crevices and I felt that there were moldy spots.Time for a new bottle.....The new bottle has a different mouthpiece and different filter system. I wasn't sure about the mouthpieces which is place in the middle of the top of the bottle (vs on the edge as on the previous models). Also when I first started using it, the cover kept hitting my face and I was completely annoyed, only to discover that I had to push it harder to go further back and everything was good again. Now it moves back easily. The bottle looks like it will be easier to clean - time will tell.I do like the mouthpiece in the center, not better or worse than the older models. I do love that you can drink from these bottle so easily and don't have to lean it back to drink.
