Good quality, OEM product - I like the blue coating
This was a replacement for the one on my Magma grill that walked away. Seems to be a like for like replacement for my grill and fit my Cabo, no problem. It's quality OEM stuff, not cheap aftermarkety product. While the blue is nice, it does feel like a superior coating to the (none) on the original one. I didn't notice any difference in cooking as some other folks did.

3 things you need to know.
1) These are proprietary. If you need to connect to a Magma grill, you need a Magma regulator.2) These do not use O-Rings. Ignore the review that says “It didn’t come with O-Rings.”3) These things are great. I love using my Magma grill on my boat. I got a replacement because mine fell overboard. They do not lock into place, rather, they index and slide in. This means that they can fall out if allowed to index back to the installation/ removal position.

When these regulators work right they are the best for a small grill on a boat. We have gone through many in the past but they are configured to work with their grills so we have to spend the extra on these regulators to make the grill work. The grill is a great grill....all stainless has been pulled into the water by an otter while it was drying out from a good cleaning and we have never had issues with the grill but the regulator is tempermental at times and will not put out alot of fuel which makes grilling a little slow at times. Have to give it good reviews because there is no option to another regulator for this brand, would purchase again because I love my grill.

Product works as intended.
Product works as intended no issues.The original valve was made of better quality.Grill gets hot really fast. This was a high output valve.Next time we’ll go with a medium flow valve.I think the medium valve will give you better range with the temperature.

PAIN IN BUTT
SENT FIRST ONE BACK, THIS ONE ALMOST AS BAD. WHEN YOU TURN TO OFF THE TOP AREA IS SUPPOSED TO POP UP AND TURN OFF GAS. HAVE TO GRAB AND FORCE UP. THIS GRILL GOES BAD, GETTING A KUMA LIKE WE HAD ON OUR OTHER BOAT. NO WORRIES THERE.
