I bought it and achieved nothing on the shower and sink drains, which are flat. Is there a technique?

Maybe pour boiling water down drain first. Let it sit about 15-20 minutes and then plunge. Make sure to work plunger repeatedly before pulling it off of drain. You also might need something like an enzyme drain cleaner. My bathroom sink clogged up again after the initial clearing so I used Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver. I didn't want to use poison or something that could corrode pipes. The drain has been totally clear after doing this.

Will this work on garbage desposal drain??

A plunger does not work on a kitchen sink drain, at least on mine, because the garbage disposer drain leads to three other drains: the other half of the kitchen sink, the dishwasher, and a pressure relief valve. If you apply a plunger the pressure comes out the other drains. This plunger works well on bathroom sinks, though.

For a slow to drain bathroom sink should yoy use plunger with a dry sink or with dome wster in it

I used on a dry sink. Used over a month ago and The drain is still clear. Cover the drain holes before using. I used packing tape to cover them.

When would I use this plunger verus a snake drain weasel to unclog hair & gunk in a small bathroom sink that won't drain. Any tips?

You wouldn't use this. You would need to use something to pull the hair out of the drain. I use a tool called "Zip It". Works great!
