Does this test 24 k gold

It says 14k. The other says sterling, gold and platinum. I hope that this helps you

If it tests 10k why dont you have 10k solution with it?

Hello! Sometimes items marked 10k could be a higher karat rating thus using the 14k would be beneficial in situations like this.

What am i doing wrong. i've scratched on the stone jewelry i know is sterling and jewelry that i know is not? no creamy white, red or green.

Certain pcs can be marked Sterling but only be plated. I took one that was doing the same to a jeweler and they told me it was plated not true solid Sterling which is why the test didn't show it was real.
