No it removes the same as with an initial decal.

Yes. Read your instructions but usually the sizing needs to set up for 2 hrs prior to hanging paper. This does not eliminated the need to size your wallpaper. (Obviously peel and stick is applied as is to presized walls.) This just improves your wall surface to accept and apply paper, lining up patterns and seams, more easily with more professional outcomes.

Does this work on contact paper?

I have used this with peel and stick wallpaper to enhance the stickiness where needed. It would probably do the same for contact paper.
