Not much to tell it's a 2TB expansion for the Xbox works right away out of the box, easy to install and has been working flawlessly. Only problem is the price. I hope Micro soft for the next console let's us just install a drive into the console like the PS5 or at least create an adapter we can use for NVMe SSDs. Other benefit is if you have multiple xbox across the house easy to unplug from one room and move to the other.

Storage is working fine, Gamepass Ultimate 1 Month Trial Code was used and it's not working though

For a little while it worked fine, but I could never install new games on it because it says that faster storage is required. I could live with that, but what I can’t live with is after a few months of literally never touching it, and keeping it plugged in so I can, you know, play the games I do have on it (mostly older games, but all are installed, no disc) it gives me random errors and says it has been disconnected. Often times mid-game is when it starts acting up, and then kicks me out because it “disconnected”. This is a storage device, there’s no reason it should randomly disconnect. There’s a light on the unit, and it never goes out, it always just tells me “game drive has been disconnected”. This was an expensive piece that I needed to be able to hold more games on my Xbox series X. It’s completely ridiculous to me that after the return window is closed, it starts giving me trouble. I would like a refund, or a replacement, but I guess I’m just stuck with it! Make better products people, especially if you’re going to charge over $100 for it. If it was $15, I expect some sort of error after a while, but this was a highly reviewed, over $100 piece that did not live up to its expectations. For some history, I had a piece just like this on the Xbox 360 for the entirety of the consuls life span. I had this piece since July, it’s September now, and it’s not working. This is ridiculous, do better. I would like a replacement working piece, or a refund if possible. But like I said the window is closed, so now I’m just stuck with this faulty piece because of incompetent people. Thanks for nothing, go buy some thing like this at GameStop or somewhere else. Don’t waste your time here.

It's good for space but only to play Xbox games off the storage card you CAN NOT PLAY X/S games off the card so example like fortnite destiny 2 apex legends can not play off this storage card I wish I knew before buying and not I can't refund the item.

Works like it's supposed to. My only pet peeve with it is that it has a green light that alternates between flashing and solid depending on what the console or computer is doing, so if you like ultra dark in your room or game room then this in not the one for you. Other than the light, i have thoroughly appreciated this product.

The device is compact and easy to set up.The information provided about the product is vague on its compatibilty. It is compatible with Xbox Series S/X, but any game labelled as 'Xbox Series X/S Optimized' can't be played from the external storage, as you will receive a prompt stating, you cannot play unless you transfer to internal storage or an SSD expansion card. So, most new games will only be stored, but will require you to transfer over.This is good for downloading games to hold and transfer over to the console when you want to play (since it transfers instead of downloading) or vice versa to hold them while you want to play something else but don't want to uninstall for later. So you can download a game with a large file size you aren't playing right away and transfer it over at much faster speed later.I'd recommend spending the extra money on the SSD card if you can, unless you have a lot of backwards compatible games you want to install or are fine with the install now, transfer later process. Product description feels vague in making the customer know this caveat.

We bought this external hard drive for my son’s Xbox S digital & we’re really disappointed that it continually disconnects when it in fact is not disconnected but even is still lit up but kicked him out of the game repeatedly. The reliability is beyond poor, he had good use in it in the beginning but it did not take long for it to start failing on him. It would be plugged in, light on, and almost be like it wasn’t even connected or existent. It’s very portable but its ease of use is extremely poor as well. It boots up seamlessly but will not work, isn’t worth the purchase unless we got a faulty one.

Finally bought the expansion drive and its been great. You can switch games between consoles effortlessly or even use it to copy the latest update to multiple systems. Now it feels like I dont have to play Tetris with my remaining space too. I would give it 5 stars on speed and quality, but the price is still way too high for these drives, even compared to current top of the line NVMe's. I would recommend this if you have space issues and only if you have plenty of extra funds to spare.
