Soon as the package was dropped off I decided to try and I am very impressed I looked at the former pictures of those who had did reviews. If it can work on 4C hair how would it do my soon to meet a retouch relaxer. It didn't miss I would definitely buy this again!

I absolutely love this edge control. An influencer recommended it a few years ago, and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. I find that this has the best texture to actually hold your hair in place and I never experience any white residue. It also doesn't have that shiny finish you get from some other brands. Sometimes it's hard to find this, so whenever it's back in stock I make sure to repurchase. I can only speak for the red super hold version. I have had the best experience with this specific line. I have more of a coily hair texture and this product actually works well with it. The product is quite rich and dense, so I find a little goes a long way.

This is my go to edge control. It smells really good and it is not heavy. I recommend washing your edges before using it over and over to prevent build up. I think it is good for the girlies with 4 type hair just make sure you are using a silk scarf to lay it down for a few mins. Also be aware that it works best when it’s not so hot out side and if even it sweats out a little bit it will still look nice. It does hold really well especially when it’s cold. I’m currently using the blue one , it’s good but I think I’m going to switch back to my red one!

A gel that is friendly for my hair, daughter, and other family members. It holds my hair down. My hair has a hard time accepting gel sometimes. It looks good but makes my scalp burn, turn white or look dry. This makes it look moisturize. Barely need to apply more. Just water next day. I have a mix of 3c&4a thick. Daughter has high density, thick mid back 4a hair, son has thick 3b&3c hair shoulder blade length, husband has soft 4a mid back mostly. So we need some gel for our styles. And it works for all styles such as twist/plaits for him and pony for her. Pairs well with my other products. I love this. I never could get my hair to stay looking wet my hair just curl up and wave which is fine for certain looks like a curly buns or curly styles you want to hold in place. It does well for those too(wash n go be bomb). When I want a relaxer, ballerina look for my ponytails (Preference) this does it. Without having to set it forever just for it to frizz soon as you sweat.Sets soft but firm. Not crusty. Little goes a long way. Had it for 2 months for all our hairs.

Although it was sealed, it looks like a big chunk of gel was scooped out of the jar. That's a lot of product missing. You pay and expect it to be completely full. I'm a little disappointed in that. That's why I gave it three stars.As far as how it works, it's a good gel. It did a good job of laying my edges down and keeping them in place. With the thick consistency, I could tell it would be great as soon as I smoothed it on. I have extremely curly hair that always curls back up. I don't do those swoop edges, but I smooth it back neatly & classy. The gel itself would get five stars, but because it was missing a lot, I gave it three.
