Does it come with a container for storage?

No, the massager doesn't come with any type of storage other than the box it came in which is just slightly less than flimsy. There was a clear plastic band around the massager to make it compact to fit in the box which could be reused to put it back in the box it came in but it's not a long term way to store it if you use the massager often. On the rare occasion I need to put it away, I store mine in a clear plastic shoebox container with the plastic band to contain all those "fingers."

can i use this in the shower?

I just got the 28 prong. Its out of this world. Is more prongs good if one is experiencing hair loss? Will it get caught in my hair??

I, too, have the 28 finger massager (love it!) I've used ones with fewer fingers and with more and never had a problem with any of them getting tangled in my hair.
