This has been the perfect solution. I love that it can accommodate cats who like to scratch up or down. It fits against any furniture a cat wants to scratch on, and it was really easy to assemble. My foster cat had stopped scratching the furniture (she even likes to nap on it) and her kittens will learn good habits now!

My cat loves cardboard scratchers and this was perfect for him. Unlike other vertical cardboard scratchers I've purchased, this one needs no mounting, but is still completely sturdy while he scratches away, despite him being a fairly large cat (14 pounds). The jingling toy inside the joint is also a nice bonus. No wall damage + easy to put together and move + happy cat = great product.

I purchased this about nine months ago. My cats loved it. It was easy to put together. It looked nice in my place too. Then it broke in two places. I took off a star because I was expecting this to last a few years at least. Maybe my expectations were too high. The wood is not wood. It's pressed cardboard with a wood look. It literally broke in two places. I'm on the fence about it. Not sure if I want to re order. I want something sturdy that I can replace the scratch pad part. One thing I iscovere when it fwll apart is you can disassemble this and flip over the scratch pads so they can use both sides. I like that.

Great quality!! My cat loves her new scratcher and it helps keep her from scratching up the furniture. Was really easy to build - was worth purchasing.

We adopted a cat a couple of months ago, and discovered an immediate and urgent need for this scratcher. We have two other cats who typically scratch floor level, but the new kid seems to prefer a full vertical body stretch. With the speakers imperiled, we ordered this product. It provides a good height for those stretches, so new kid is satisfied, and it seems sturdy. The scratcher could stand on its own without tipping over (especially since cat is standing on the horizontal portion of scratcher whilst shredding the vertical). We’ve had a few cardboard flakes come off, but that’s expected. And the other cats are happy just to use the horizontal portion, mainly to sit on. This is a wonderfully engineered product!

Fun to build and quick, my cat uses it, and it looks good in the corner I left it in for my cat. It comes with 2 toys 1 for the inside part of the scratcher though you don't have to put it in there and another toy that I'm pretty sure is an extra for whoever buys it. it stands well and enough for my cat to get his long stretch and has a few parts I haven't used that are used for keeping it stabilized I like it 👍

I thought this was going to be a one-day wonder but both my cats like it! The instructions are easy to follow. It comes with a screwdriver and protective feet. One reviewer suggested switching upright with horizontal but I didn't. Well, they both sleep on it and use their claws on it. And the smaller part is just roomy enough for one. :-)The joint where the two pieces meet holds a ball and bell they love to bat around. And it comes with a tube toy they both also love. I would swear it's steeped in catnip but it seems to be something better. To me it smells like WD40. Very happy the cats are happy!
