have started to add this to my room freshners as the 3 flies(always 3 !!!!) have no idea where to find the door they came in whilst im getting some fresh air

Recently found this brand from a reddit post and thought I'll give it a go. This is from a small business, and had great reviews online on the strong scent and quality. It's that time of year where I need to apply citronella oil around the windows in the home to deterrer bugs. It has a strong scent with very little product. The scent lasted ages and I will be buying more from the company.

This product is excellent. The quality of 100% strength and excellent value for money (due to the size of the bottle and contents) is I believe unbeatable. The smell is strong and punchy, very citrus smelling. You only need a small amount for an aromatherapy burner mixed with water in the burner hopper for a lovely room filling fragrance, in a big hopper I use 6-8 drops and small hopper 4-5 drops. If you don't have a burner or do not feel a burner is safe, wet a cloth or similar item, wring out, place on a hot central heating radiator and add 6-8 drops of May Chang, this will create a similar effect to fragrance a room. I also use a mix of 4 drops May Chang with either 6 drops Lavender or 4 drops Ylang Ylang. For a relaxing bath, after the bath is run I add some bath oil such as Palmers and then 8 drops of May Chang for a lovely relaxing bath that smells gorgeous. Pat skin dry and your skin feels moisturised and soft. All of these are relaxing oils and good for the mind. My delivery arrived well packaged and intact and on breaking the bottle's seal, the citronella oil smelled just like any of the other and often more expensive preparations I've used.I've used it directly on my skin (diluted as directed) and escaped the usual inevitable feasting by mosquitoes and other flying, biting insects on hot, humid summer days. Today, instead of wearing it on my skin, I daubed spots onto my clothing and headed to our woodland stream which always attracts masses of mozzies swarming just above the surface which generally make a bee-line for me. Instead, I am delighted to report my first ever trip without feeling those tell-tale nips on my face. Instead, unlike previous visits, they seemed to keep a good distance from me.I also use this with my rabbits in their 40' open-ended garden enclosure in preference to more toxic fly killer products. Having a south-facing garden backing onto a river, the rabbits attract a lot of flies which even two industrial zapper units cannot fully control. As an additional fly control measure, I added a few drops of this citronella oil onto damp rags suspended from the roof and within 20-30 minutes there was a noticeable drop in the number of flies. Bluebottles didn't seem too repelled by the citronella but the mozzies and other nippers seemed to have headed off.So - on my skin, on my clothing and in the garden, this citronella oil appears to work very effectively (and safely). It offers very good value for money and I'll be ordering more when I've depleted this bottle - but even with relatively heavy usage, I'm expecting it to last about a year. Excellent value!Update June 2014: I've used the Citronella oil since last June, through the autumn, occasionally through the mild winter then daily through the spring. There's now about 20% left in the bottle so it's time to order more to deter flies in the current heatwave. It really is very effective so don't hesitate to buy some!
