Fantastic piece of kit
Fantastic bit of it, going from a new car to an older one I missed the steering wheel controls. This looks great and works very well.

Does the job, but could be better designed
I bought this because my 2012 VW Golf has a factory Bluetooth head unit that streams music from my iPhone perfectly, but doesn't allow any playback control using the steering wheel or head unit buttons. This device does the job, and I have it mounted to the steering wheel with its supplied clip.I would agree with other reviewers that the Bluetooth pairing button is in the wrong place. It would make more sense to be at the 12 o'clock position of the metallic bezel so that it could be used without having to take the button out of the clip; as is it, the 12 o'clock position is taken up by the hole for the supplied wrist strap. The button is flush with the case and needs to be pressed and held with an appropriately-sized tool, so it couldn't be operated by accident even if it was repositioned. I suspect it's only on the back because that was the most convenient (and therefore cheapest) place to put it given the layout of the internal board.I haven't had any of the problems other reviewers have noted with the sticky pad, because I'm not using it - in fact, I'm not sure it even came with one. If you're using it in the steering wheel clip, you don't need a sticky pad, it's firmly held in place by the sides of the clip. The very first day I put it into use, I accidentally knocked it off the steering wheel as I was getting out of the car, and after I picked it up off the floor it wasn't working. I thought that maybe the battery had become dislodged, but re-seating it made no difference. In the end I replaced it with a new Duracell (it's a CR2016) and it came back to life.

Great little device
I've been using this for 18 months and the battery has finally run out. I use it in my car as my phone connects via Aux so I've stuck it on the dash so I can change songs while keeping my eyes on the road. I would like to confirm that the battery is easily replaceable via a little screw on the back. I am also able to use the same sticky pad as it peeled off nicely. I was worried I would have to replace it but with the removable battery, it has only cost me £2 for a battery for hopefully another 18 months. Highly recommend.

It just works
Have been using this for a while now: it's nothing special, but after a year it just works: both me and my wife paired our phones to it, so, depending on who started first, we can use this button mid-drive to scroll through our songs without touching our phones. Fantastic stuff, highly recommended!

Audi A3 and HTC one
New update: Updating this product Oct 2016, it's barely been a year since I bought this product, which was stuck on my steering wheel. Recently I bought a new phone, which meant I had to take the button off the steering wheel as the Bluetooth paring button was at the back! I read others complain about this but I didn't think too much of it. Experiencing myself was a pain to say the least. Whilst attempting to take the button off, the glue sticky was so strong that the battery cover detached - after I got it home to put it back together, I realised that battery wasn't sitting tight as it should - with my last push the 'metal' looking surrounding came off the button and it was impossible to put back together. I am extremely annoyed with this product and so not understand why they had to think of having the paring button at the back. Waste of money.Old review: was looking for one of these for awhile, as I listen to music from my HTC phone via the car stereo. There's plenty of similar remotes available online but nothing had good reviews as much as this - but nothing was as expensive as this either (for what it offered), but my safety and comfort came first and I didn't want something gimmicky that never worked, this had reviews that spoke for itself...so eventually bought it.Pros:- Very sleek looking premium feel and design, looks like an Apple product.- Works every time, someone it's a bit slow to respond, but that's probably me being impatient.- Drving is now very pleasant and eyes are on the road rather than phone!!Cons- Yes it looks great, but if there's a cheaper version that works, I'd rather buy the cheap model. I think for what it offers (just basic music control) is very expensive. I would have expected atleast for a phone answer button.- Its quite bulky and sort of sticks out, so you would have to get used to not displacing off steering. I'm still getting used to trying to avoid touching whilst turning.- The holder which attaches to the steering, should have been an optional (and price reflecting this), as I find it even bad, gets in the way when steering. Instead I would have preferred to have a couple of sticky pads, they provide just one. I had to change it over once already since I wasn't comfortable having the button on the right hand side.- I thought this should be no more than £15. But since there's nothing like it, I can't blame them for charging more.

Works with Kindle app
This device sends volume up and volume down button presses, which are enough to cause the Kindle apps for Android and iOS to advance and retreat reliably, one page at a time. It will not work on an Amazon Kindle.I tried one of the devices that fits on a finger like a ring. It was described mainly as a tool for scrolling through TikTok videos, but claimed to advance pages in e-reader applications as well. The mention of TikTok is the clue that what these things send are scroll up and scroll down gestures, which won't reliably control the Kindle app.
