I bought these steps for my elderly fat cat. They are perfect for her needs. She uses them to get up on the sofa which is now to high for her to jump. They would probably also work for access to beds as well.My cat is quite large so these steps would also suit a small dog.The quality is excellent and the steps are easy to assemble and are very sturdy! I highly recommend them. They do not take up much room which is a bonus if you are short of space. They are excellent value for money as well.

Excellent and good looking product . So easy to put together . My cats love it and now my old cat can climb up using it .This is my second one . I arrived fast the next day in perfect condition . Very happy with it .

The media could not be loaded. These steps are very easy to put together, and everything you need is supplied. They are very sturdy, most definitely hold the weight of a cat or small (or even medium) dog. They have scratching rope around the struts which is useful. Soft material on the steps. 10/10, perfect for my cats needs. Highly recommended.

Perfect height for our ageing cat to climb on and off our bed, saving her from having to jump and put too much strain on her bad legs. I worried she might ignore them but she's quickly seen the benefit and does actually use them!They're sturdy, well made and just the right size - they don't take up too much space and I've not found myself tripping over them yet. Great purchase.

This comes flat packed. It is assembled in just a few minutes (I would have been much quicker but one of the steps for some reason was a bit fiddly in getting both screws in the pillar holes correctly), inserting the bolts and tightening with the supplied allen key.It's strong and sturdy. The base and steps are covered in soft plush material (the bolts in the steps are visible but reasonably recessed) and the pillars holding the steps up double as scratching posts though I can't see my cat using them for that purpose. I would say that the whole item is a little large, particularly in width, just for the purpose of steps for a cat to get up onto a sofa or bed, each step being wide enough for an adult cat to sit or even lie on longways, making it not quite so easy to store out of the way, but at least it could be said that the wide base adds stability. My elderly cat is still getting used to these steps, approaching them with a bit of trepidation and pausing to sit on each step as though wondering whether it is safe to go onto the next one, but it's less than 24 hours as I write.

My 17 year old cat was struggling to jump up on the bed and sofa due to his arthritis so I wanted some steps to make it much easier and less painful for him. I looked at several "pet steps" but a lot of them were just foam steps which wouldn't last 5 minutes and could have potentially caused my cat to loose his balance. Or they were horrible plastic ones. When I came across these they were just what I was looking for.•They are made of wood so super sturdy.•It was easy enough to assemble them even though I'm challenged in the DIY department.•The perfect height for both next to my bed and sofa.•Value for money•2in1 uses. I love that these aren't *just* steps but they are also a cat scratcher. My cats have a few cat scratching trees in the living room but they don't have one in the bedroom so these are perfect.
