50 50, if you drawn with pencil underneath u will see it. However not as transparent as watercolours

Would these work on hand prints and foot prints?

No - I’d say that the paint is not liquid enough for that. Their great property is that there is application is very smooth and they remain pliable only for a few minutes before they dry fast making them brilliant for children of all ages! And I include myself in that as a 67 year old painter and educator
