We don't take iron supplements for its smell ^_^
I came home from my second surgery,The doctor called me the day after worried because my iron count was so low telling me I'm anemic now.. The shake tastes like a silky chocolate. I'd have to say if you've never had sugar-free things it may come off really gross tasting so to help make it better find a milk substitute that works for you and add some sugar it will taste better or you could always add a little pumpkin spice mix or a little dairy-free creamer to change the flavor better. It's pretty thick so using a Shaker bottle ball or whisks would probably be best to mix it. It's easy to use, the texture isn't too bad, the quality is good, my blood count is coming back up so it's effective,Side effects: if you eat a heavy meal with it it can cause bloating. I use it as a meal replacement.

Contender for my new favorite flavor
Okay, so I may have said that Cookies and Cream was gonna be my go to flavor, but the new release of the Vanilla version of Iron Lift is giving it some seriously stiff competition.Vanilla is a notoriously difficult flavor for supplements to get right, but Smart Eats nailed it with this one. Just as smooth in texture as Cookies and Cream, but a great take on vanilla with a rich natural flavor profile that does not have the uncanny aftertaste of “vanilla-esque” that you sometimes get with supplements that claim to be “vanilla”. This tastes like the real deal because it is.The same sustained energy and nutritional support of their previous outings, but with a new option now on the table. I guess I am going to have to order both now and switch off? I can’t speak to the Chocolate version yet as I haven’t tried it, but this will be next on my list!

Chocolate Flavor Not Good
Unfortunately the taste of this was not good. I wanted to like it, even adding it my coffee to offset the flavor but I could not stomach this.

Great energy boost
This product is great is you are looking for a quick vegan protein alternative. I found It gave me some much needed energy before a tough workout. I especially like that the ingredients list is clearly explained so that you know what is a mineral and what is an prebiotic for example, no unnecessary fillers. I did find that 2 scoops was a lot so I prefer using one scoop even if it cuts the supplements in half. Will you make a chocolate version? :)

Gonna be a no for me.
This tastes nothing like vanilla.I bought this to use alongside my chocolate hydrolyzed whey protein powder because it included additional vitamins my other powder doesn't provide.I was first surprised by the color of the powder, followed by the overwhelming smell of pea protein. It reminded me of some of the whey proteins I used to get years ago that smelled sour and didn't taste good. They should also change the packaging, because I was expecting a white powder, and thought maybe there was a packaging error, and I got chocolate.I normally mix my protein with a standard cup of coffee. This Iron Lift powder overwhelms the coffee flavor (and aroma) in a bad way, and that's with just 20 grams added. I dropped it down to 10 grams, and was able to get a bit of the coffee flavor - but could still taste and smell the pea protein. I ended up going with a 2:1 mix of my chocolate flavored hydrolyzed whey, and the Iron Lift (20g whey, 10g pea). The pea protein flavor and smell was still there, but was not nearly as overwhelming. I also tried the Iron Lift powder with water by itself, and was still not liking it.It does dissolve really well, so there's no chalkiness. I'll probably try it in other things (like protein balls). The vitamin content is also really fantastic! The percentages actually allow for fluctuations in the vitamins and minerals I eat day-to-day as part of my diet.

Keep at it!
I have been struggling with low iron and to be honest the smell and flavor of this powder almost had me ready to return it but now that I'm used to it I don't even taste it in my smoothies and I have seen a very noticeable difference in my blood work, even my doctor is impressed! Very effective!
