It’s the second time I buy this and it broke too
I bought one, it broke right after return window closed. I bought a second one and this one also broke around the same time. Skip this one and buy original part from Dyson, this one is actually a money pit.

Affordable replacement, broke again
Our original Dyson dust bin broke on the button that opens the dust bin door. This was a great replacement and fit perfectly. It did break again in the same spot after a few months but it’s so cheap & effective that I’ve bought it again. It is a design flaw for this model of Dyson in my opinion.

Plastic clip broke
I’ve had the canister since July 1 and 4 months later the plastic clip that holds the canister door shut is broken off. I’d give durability a one star.
