Has anyone complained about the mold that grows behind the head and drain holes on the back of the tooth brush head?

I have not seen this happen. I change toothbrush’s fairly frequently. If my little one has a cold or illness I always start with a fresh toothbrush once he is well.

How do you change the batteries?

Thank you for your question. The battery compartment is at the base of the brush. Remove the screw with a small Phillips head (#0 or #1; eyeglass type) screwdriver. Pull the battery compartment door downward hard. Do not pull the compartment door straight out. Replace with 2 AAA alkaline batteries ONLY. Realign door and replace screw.
