The description says this is over a liter..reviews say otherwise..also, can this be used in cooking/baking etc?

This is a tiny bottle of flavoring to add to 80 proof alcohol that YOU provide. It will flavour 1.125 liters of alcohol. It does require additional ingredients and will make up to 1 liter of Peach Schnapps. It could be used in cooking, we don't think the flavor would 'bake out' but we have no directions for use in cooking.
