Don't write many reviews, but this is a great lead. The clips are strong and I do not worry they will fail. I have a young border terrier (10kg) and although the metalwork is sturdy it is fine for him. I probably wouldn't use it on a much smaller dog... it would be good if they did a small option of similar quality! One of the greatest joys is that I can have him attached to me rather than the table in the pub! It is a good short lead length when at its smallest and lots of length when we are needing to be on lead in the country.

Always great sturdy leads from this Seller and these police style double ended leads are no exception, I have purchased quite a few and all of them are great quality! I will add that there was a problem with the delivery of my latest order and the Seller was brilliant, very understanding and didn't hesitate to send me a replacement order. Would recommend!

I use this with my 47kg bernese mountain dog puppy, one end goes on her head collar and one end on her harness, so I can use the harness mostly and the head collar if she pulls too hard. Long enough to let her have a good sniff around. The clips are pretty big and heavy which is good for strength, but not for weight on the headcollar and the fabric isn't that comfortable to hold.

Very well made strong lead. Great length that gives you control but lets your dog have a bit of freedom. Would highly recommend.

I am genuinely pleased with this lead. It's smart, strong and looks well made. It's nice and soft in your hands, I have a dog that can pull so I was worried about it hurting my hands but it doesn't. I love the style as I can use it in multiple ways, tying dog up, hands free ECT. The only thing I would mention is....the clips are very heavy, when both attached towards the dogs collar (The shortest you can have the lead) it seems to weigh down a bit on my dog. He's a beagle so not a very big dog, anything smaller and it would be too heavy for them. He doesn't seem to be bothered and it's not a major concern but something to think about when ordering.

Not as padded as I'd hoped, can still see getting burn if dog pulls quickly. It is nice and long but would be better if padded, which I thought it was. I will probably look for another.

Great for walking my large, strong German shepherd with his dogmatic head collar.My first at 5 years old is going strong as is the 2nd in a different colour. Would like a red one but don’t seem to do them other than in the selection photo?. *****
