Worth the buy for me
I bought this dock because I have a bad habit of going through stand alone charging cables. I usually wear them out within 3 to 6 months from all the plugging, unplugging, and binding of the cords i do with them and have to buy a new one. This helps me keep from excessive use and mix use of the cord itself. The dock is very sturdy and I like how I can charge my Note 4 with out taking my case off if I don't want too. I have a thick rubber case and it fits snuggly onto the dock. I haven't tried charging without the case yet but I like that they added a filler option for if I do charge my phone without the case by chance it could still fit snuggly. Again, I haven't used the filler yet but i'm sure there are others who have thinner cases or no case at all that will apreviate the add-on. The charge does not seem as fast as the fast charging cables I buy. Buy it still seems faster than the regular charger. I am satisfied with my purchase in the end.

... 🔋 CHARGER for me turned out to be an excellent choice.
The RND DOCK WITH SPARE BATTERY 🔋 CHARGER for me turned out to be an excellent choice.. The only complaint I have is that the charging light 💡 is located out of view behind the phone 📱 which is highly annoying to me when I'm charging a spare battery. I chose the RND because it's design is simply, unobtrusive and looks good anywhere from the office to the home. It is designed to accommodate note 📝 4's with a simple thin layered skin and it does just that but what I don't understand about the designer's of this product is how they don't take into consideration that people who do own Galaxy note 4's and have spent in some cases 900 dollars 💵 for one of the best phones on the market simply won't even consider buying inexpensive cheap thin, simple skins that offer no impact or damage control. That design flaw negates this feature as a legitimate selling point Anything larger then a thin dust and scratch cover will not fit. I use a, 'Tech 21' cover which is top of line when it comes down to damage and impact control. (which by the way can be purchased from Amazon for a much better price then you will find in any retail store) so when I tried my new charging dock with a, 'Tech 21' attached to my phone 📱 it wouldn't fit. No problem! I'm a retired automotive designer and simply took it apart and redesigned it to accommodate the thicker and much more efficient skin. The modifications were easily accomplished and I could care less about voiding any warranty. This dock will last for years. The only thing I wish I would have done when I had it apart was to reposition the charging light 💡 from its almost hidden place to the front for easy viewing. I still give this product five 🌟 stars because it is a very attractive dock and as the ad claims it does seem to charge ones phone 📱 30 percent quicker. Sincerely Arthur McBride

Doesn't work?
Plugged it in with the quick charge cable, phone doesn't make a very good connection with or without my Samsung slim case and with or without the sleeve. If I really push it down, it'll charge but also start my Car Home Ultra app on my phone, says dock connected? I uninstalled Car Home, same thing. Tried plugging in either cable directly to the phone and no charging. Poor fit, USB doesn't plug in well, and simply doesn't charge correctly without risk of damaging my USB port. Had a similar dock for my HTC One w/o any issues.

the dock itself is great, the accessories not so much
probably the best note 4 dock on amazon in this price range, but i have a few issues with the accessories that came with it: - the plug on the included USB cable seems to be a little too large, it takes a big of force to plug it into the phone or the dock - the AC adapter makes noise, the kind of noise you hear when electricity is not flowing properly. it is very faint, but definitely noticeable from 3 feet away in a quiet room other than those issues, it works fine. i will mention that my note 4 has room to wiggle around while docked, but that's only because the dock was designed to fit a note 4 with a VERY thin case, and i do not use one.

50% good / 50% not (updated)
--- Updated Dec 30,2014 The seller contacted me and offered to send me a new unit to replace the defective one. Good customer service. This one works, but...when you are charging phone and 2nd battery it will charge, but VERY slow. In addition, if you are using the rapid charger that comes with the phone with this dock you need to keep the following in mind - the rapid charging works unless you try to charge the phone and second battery. In this situation the phone does not go into rapid charging mode. None of these are a deal breaker for me do will keep the dock. --- original review Okay, I bought this companies dock for my s4 so figured I'd give them another shot with my Note. It's basic and seems to charge the phone fine. Unfortunately mine won't charge the 2nd battery. I've tried 2 different batteries. This was a feature I needed so will probably send it back. Other than the 2nd battery issue the dock would do the trick.

The best charger.
This is the third RND charger that I have owned. I first tried the Samsung charger made for the Note 4 but it was large and could not accommodate the phone with a slim case on the phone so I had to remove the case every night before charging. Removing the case every night was an annoyance and eventually resulted in the case breaking. I bought a new case and saw the RND had released a charger for the Note 4. This charger is far superior in that it has a small footprint and takes up minimal room, it comes with a sleeve adapter that can be used if you want to charge the without the case. I can now charge the phone without removing the case every night. In addition, it has a slot to charge a spare battery so that both phone and extra battery can be charged simultaneously. It is built well and small which takes up less room when packing it for a trip. My only criticism is that the charging cord should be longer.

Phone charger works, spare battery charger doesn't
the spare battery part of the charger stopped working after first use, It does however charge the phone quickly.
